Whey Permeate
Whey permeates a byproduct whey contains lactose, minerals, and small protein quantities. It serves as a functional ingredient in multiple food applications, such as baked goods, dairy products, and processed food items. It enhances the flavor and boosts nutritional benefits.
In the food processing industry this particular milk powder is used for products such as baked products, chocolate, milk beverages, ice cream and desserts.
CHARACTERISTIC
White to yellowish colour, free flowing powder, typical milky taste and smell without foreign odour.
APPLICATIONS
Confectionery, milk chocolate, bakery, beverage whiteners, ice cream, chocolate drinks, yoghurts, frozen foods.
BENEFITS
Good nutritional value, soluble ingredient, rich in natural milk fat, emulsifying capacity, smooth mouthfeel, natural milky taste and odour, great milk solid.
STORAGE
Product must be stored in a cool, dry place, at temperature below 25°C and relative humidity below 65%, product has 18 to 24 months shelf life in the original packaging.
